Bollington Festival Writing Competition Winners

As part of the 2019 Bollington Festival, a chidren's writing competition was held, with every child who lived in Bollington, invited to get involved.

The children were grouped by each of the three key stages and were asked to write a poem or a short story about 'A Journey' in approximately 150 words.

Each winner received a book token, their entry published in "Bollington Live!" (Issue 76 - Summer 2019) and an opporutunity to read their winning entry on Canalside Radio.

We are delighted that four of our children won!  All of their audios are available to listen to, below.

Emily Beever won in the Early Years category (3-5 years).

Lucy Jones won in the Key Stage 1 category (5-7 years).

We are so proud of our winners!
