St John’s 50th Birthday

Today the children marked the 50th birthday of St John’s with a wonderful assembly that took the audience through all the facts and songs of the last five decades. The event was opened by the Mayor of Bollington, Mr Jon Weston. After the assembly and a slide show, all the children were given some of the special birthday cake and a commemorative mug from the PTA. The event followed special drone photos that were taken to mark the school’s anniversary, by Lunar Aerial Imaging. There will also be a chance for former pupils to visit the school on November 9th, for a trip down memory lane.
