Today, a group of children visited Bollington Life Church to support a community food waste project as part of our ongoing eco work. This initiative helps redistribute surplus food to local families while teaching our pupils about sustainability and social responsibility. We will be rotating children from Year 2 upwards so that more pupils have the opportunity to take part in this valuable experience. During the visit, the children helped to prepare food parcels, confidently spoke to members of the public, and distributed fresh produce to the community. They represented our school wonderfully and embraced the experience with enthusiasm.The children were even able to bring some of the surplus food back to school for us all to enjoy together.
