We are closely connected to a school in Uganda through the KNAPS sponsorship scheme. Our school is working alongside this community and letters are written between us and the Tower Primary School in Kamutuuza, Uganda. We have visited the school - please see our 'Uganda Visit' tab for more details.
We regularly welcome Doreen and Alan from the KNAPS scheme into school to lead an assembly. They tell us all about their work at Tower Primary School, and how the community is doing. At the end of each assembly the Global School Council, and other children, get the chance to question our visitors, and to dress up in authentic Ugandan clothes.
Hope everyone is well.
The children are all back at school in Kamutuuza and many have sat exams later than usual.
With modern technology we were able to send money for maize and rice and 114 families were given money for a Special Dinner.
Generally things are now much better and we pray that we might visit Uganda this November.
Many thanks for your support and look forward to the day when we can visit your school again.
