Maple Class - Year 3 and 4 2026 - 2027

A very warm welcome to our Maple Class page.

We are absolutely delighted to be teaching this wonderful class  this year. We are also fortunate to be supported in our learning journey by the fantastic Ms Marques.

This year promises to be full of exciting opportunities for growth, discovery and creativity. We’re kicking off the term with a brilliant book, Leon and the place between, which will inspire us to write character descriptions, diary entries, and more. In Science, we’ll be exploring forces and space, while in History, we’ll be having a look at how life has changed for children. 

This term, we will be focusing on creation and joy for our Christian values learning how to live these values both in and outside the classroom. 

Each half-term, we also explore the Sustainable Development Goals and observe key Global Days, helping our children to become thoughtful and active global citizens.

Weekly spellings and homework will be sent home every Friday, and we kindly ask for your support in encouraging your child to read daily at home. Reading regularly not only builds essential skills but also nurtures a lifelong love of learning.

It’s going to be a fantastic year filled with curiosity, creativity, and community.

We are really looking forward to everything we’ll achieve together.
