Outdoor Learning Day

Today is Outdoor Learning Day! Cherry Class had a fantastic start to their new Geography topic. We began by learning all about the United Kingdom, exploring its countries and capital cities. We also discussed some of the key characteristics of the UK and what makes each country special. Then it was time to take our learning outdoors! Using a variety of loose parts, the children worked hard to create their very own maps of the United Kingdom, carefully thinking about its shape and the different countries. We were so impressed with their creativity and teamwork!
