Beekeeper Visit

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Class 1 Year: 2025 - 2026

Today, we welcomed local beekeepers, Paul and Chloe, into school along with 10,000 of their honey bees. We learnt so much about the life cycle of a honey bee and the different roles the worker bees have in their lifetime.
The children asked some fantastic questions and we loved hearing about life as a beekeeper. We were lucky enough to taste several different types of honey. What a wonderful morning!
