Class 3 Earthquake Resistant Structures

As part of our IPC topic 'Different Places, Similar Lives' children have researched Tokyo. We discovered that Japan experiences frequent earthquakes. 

Children found that Japanese structures often contain a 'shinbashira' - a large peice of wood which the rest of the building uses for support. 

Class 3 have created and then tested structures using this idea.
