Oak Class are already fully immersed in our first Literacy Tree book of the new school year, Firebird by Saviour Pirotta. We have been developing expanded nouns including well chosen adjectives and prepositional phrases.  We started the unit by creating artwork about how we imagine the firebird, including our noun phrases within our art.
