Lower Moss Wood Animal Sanctuary
Lesson: EYFS
Class: Class 1 Year: 2025 - 2026
It was a wonderful (and very hot!) day down in the woods with the Reception children. We enjoyed a nature walk with Ray who taught us all about the wildlife and plants that are native to the area. After lunch we met the resident buzzard, Zoomba, before her daily flight and then we all went pond dipping. The pond was full of amazing creatures including sticklebacks and dragonfly larvae, it was fascinating! We finished our day by meeting the newest addition, Bramble the 3 week old barn owl. What an amazing day!
