Lesson: Geography

Class: Birch Class- Reception Year: 2026 - 2027

This week, Birch Class used the story 'Martha Maps It Out' as inspiration for their map making. The children discussed their favourite local places to visit, and they used Google Earth to look at these locations from a bird's eye view. Pupils created map collages of Bollington as well as 3D maps using wooden bricks. Learning about our community, and gaining an understanding of our place within it, has been a lot of fun.
