Opening of Wilmslow Police Station - Police Academy

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Today, children from Bollington St John’s have officially opened the new Police HQ in Wilmslow! The children had this fantastic opportunity following their participation the Police Academy. The youngsters had the chance to walk around the old police station and cells before entering the new station and having a guided tour. They had the first ride in the elevator, and interviewed the Cheshire Police Commissioner. What a wonderful experience! It was a terrific morning and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.
