Owl Experience
Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom
Libby from Feathered Friends brought in four of her incredible birds today, and we were able to see the differences between nocturnal and diurnal owls.
In two separate workshops the children watched the owls fly between the perches, hover, walk and swoop for food. Each owl had very different features and has adapted for life in its environment. Pupils learnt so many facts about owls and asked some great questions.
Thank you to the PTA for funding this amazing opportunity.
