Class 2 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Class 2's page.

I am Mrs Van, and I teach Class 2 which is made up of 25 amazing children. Mrs Woolley and Mrs Moisei support us with our learning.  

On this page, you can find a copy of our Curriculum Plan and our Class Timetable. This year, we are working on Year A of the Curriculum Long Term Plan. 

PE takes place on Monday afternoons, and children should come to school wearing their PE kits. Book change day is Monday, and spelling tests are held every Friday.

Our Christian Values this term are Peace and Compassion.

Each child will have a core reading book and reading diary to bring to school daily. Please note the page number your child reaches each time they read at home in their diary.

Reading at home as often as possible is key to developing fluency and understanding. Just 10 minutes of reading each day, combined with conversations about the text, will greatly support your child’s progress.

If you have quick questions, I am available in the playground at drop-off and pick-up. For longer conversations, appointments can be arranged through the school office by phone or email. The office can also pass on messages about your child.
