Spirituality and Worship at St John's
At Bollington, St John’s, spirituality is a golden thread throughout our day to day lives. We provide regular opportunities to develop and promote children’s spirituality, teaching them to be questioning, understand themselves, relationships and the world and beyond. This enables them to become flourish and live their lives to the fullest, working with all their hearts.
Our vision, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord”, means that we strive to encourage our school community to recognise that when we work for the Lord, every action has significance and value.
Opportunities to develop spiritually are threaded throughout our curriculum, and we use the windows, mirrors, doors and candle model to provide the children with ongoing self-reflection and spiritual development.
